Biography
~Asparagii~ First started growing in October 2007. The two cousins, Mike and Jay Bielarczyk, performed together numerous times through out the years, but it was after a particular show at the Showboat Theater in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin when they decided to unite.
~Mike~ Mojo is from Carol Stream, IL. After studying music theory at the College of Dupage he obtained his AFA. Recently he graduated with a BA in music business from Columbia College Chicago. He was the front-man in the band “Razz-Barey Jam” for 8 years, performed solo and with a number of musicians.
~Jay~ Jay boy currently resides in Burlington, WI, grew up near St Pete Florida. He has a wonderful daughter named Cassidy Hope who is an integral part of his life. As a founding member of the band “Red Phone Fetish” Jay has performed with various musicians over the years including Circadian, Pegusus, And Mike Kessler.
Mike and Jay are singer/songwriter/composers/producers who have been entertaining for over a decade. They're from musical origins but little did they know; they would eventually end up writing some of their best music together.
“Asparagii” has quickly become one of the Midwest’s most innovative and interesting bands with a unique way of evoking emotion from every audience. From uplifting melodies with dark haunting lyrics, to funky bluegrass jingles with enchanting falsetto, they will certainly keep you guessing at every show.
